East St Louis native and Mudd Brothers' very own MB Gilk just dropped his new project "Coulda Been Dropped", being his first project release since his 2019 releases "75 Back" and "Mudd Is Thicker Than Blood". In between that time, Gilk has released a numerous visuals and collaborated with other artists such as Mudd Bughatti and Baby Dro. Gilk showcases his unique sound in the perfect way on every song on the 10 track project. With no features, Gilk was able to create a masterpiece full of bangers for the streets to listen too. This project has a few stand out tracks but "Old Me" is the one that stood out in my favorite the most.

Rising East St. Louis artist Cudi Mula just dropped his new 10 track project "Trill Intentions" on all music streaming platforms with features from 88Boog, Lil STL and Boss Chiefy. Cudi has been constantly dropping hit after hit along with numerous visuals while traveling back and forth to Los Angeles for studio time and was recently kicking it with NLE Choppa a few weeks ago in LA. The joint is full of all new bangers besides 'Stay Dangerous' which Cudi dropped the visual to around 3 weeks ago shot by Stop Smilin Films. My top 3 favorites are 'Touch A Star', 'Be Somebody' and 'No Guts No Glory'. If you aren't in-tune with Mula yet, you definitely need to check out a few of his classics such as 'Fake Love', 'Turn My Savage Up', 'Me N Bro' and 'Secure The Bag' but in all honestly, just take a day and stream all of his music, I promise you won't be disappointed, if not you're missing out on the next up artist that can take the industry by storm!

Lil Cactus just released his second studio album titled "Summer Sessions" engineered by Steve Nyse and Courtlin Jabrae. The project features "Rollin", a long-awaited track that Cactus first teased with a snippet posted on his Instagram last summer. The smooth trap beat and relaxing flow from Cactus wraps onto the beat in the perfect way to make "Rollin" the stand out track of "Summer Sessions". This is Cactus' first project release since early 2019, when he dropped "Rendezvous".  The wait for this album was definitely worth it, as usual, Cactus gives us nothing but fire bangers to kick back and vibe too.

"My last album "Rendezvous" was almost all slower songs which I personally like more for myself sometimes, but to be versatile you gotta hit all different types of flows. I feel like as though I did a good job on this album to bring more bouncy beats while still keeping my laid back vibey style. All in all, I love this album and would love for everyone reading to check it out as well." Cactus said.

A few other stand out songs on this project are "Barca", "Bermurda", and "Ego" which are all prime examples of the hits that Cactus has created. The Herrin native is definitely a young upcoming artist with a unique sound that I highly recommend everyone to check out. Murphysboro native Bridge Lane is back with another project titled "Water Under The Bridge" with numerous hits and features from Courtlin Jabrae, T.White, Mayo and City Boi, another artist from Murphysboro and friend of Bridge who is currently serving a prison sentence for a murder case so Bridge takes his talents and thoughts to create a track dedicated to City Boi called "Free City" on the tape.

Bridge tested himself on the creation of this masterpiece from trying new sounds and flows in new unique ways proving that he is the Best Lyricist Unsigned. "Water Under The Bridge" is his first album release since 2018 when he dropped "Bridges Burned" which was a follow up to his pervious album the year before "Burned Bridges" and is now taking us into an new chapter with this mixtape release. Grind Majors' very own T.White has released his new album 'From The Land.' This is his first project release since 2017 after dropping 'Loved and Feared 2'. T reps his hometown; Carbondale and Southern Illinois in the perfect way on both the music side and album cover. The album artwork features T.White leaning against a mailbox while wearing a face mask due to COVID-19. The SIU clock tower and dorm buildings in the background are there to represent Southern Illinois University and the apartments behind him are the East Chestnut St. apartments on the city's eastside, where T.White was raised. 

Through-out the project's music, T tells a story within each track on the perfect beat, sound and flow while respresenting the 618.  'From The Land' comes with 17 bangers giving us an hour of non-stop heat featuring Kodak Black, Bridge Lane, G CobbO, T.Gates and Tre Poundz. Gates is also the CEO of Grind Majors. The album was produced and recorded at Courtlin Jabrae's studio. Now personally, I have a lot of favorites from this project but just to name a couple, I'll say 'Moon Rocks' and 'East College.' This is a must listen album, come get in tune before it's too late!
